ZahranicnaPolitika.sk is the internet portal of the journal Zahraničná politika. You can find here not only the internet version of the journal, but also additional articles, interviews and information about international relations. It also provides space for „blogging" about foreign policy and expressing your views in the internet forum. It promotes events which are related to international relations. The portal is created by the same people that create the journal Zahraničná politika.

Characteristics: The journal Foreign Policy is a follower of Listy SFPA (Letters SFPA) which were published since 1997. The journal specializes in the aspects of international politics, economy and security. Due to a fact that it is a journal published in the Slovak language and as such focuses especially on the Slovak reader, its attention is fixed predominantly on the affairs of Europe, transatlantic space and the role of Slovakia in international coalitions. Foreign Policy targets predominantly professional public, i.e. students, scholars, politicians, diplomats, employers of state and public institutions. However, the way in which information is presented makes the journal accessible also for general public readers. The journal is published bimonthly on twenty-eight pages and except of the analyses on current trends in global politics the journal offers reviews, a guide through history of the Slovak foreign-political thinking, experience of participants of Slovak foreign missions, foreign policy events chronology and virtual library. The journal includes two regular supplements - Strategické štúdie (Strategic Studies) and Europeana.
Access to the portal ZahranickaPolitika.sk and journal Zahraničná politika can be acquired with membership inthe SFPA, by subscribing, or by purchasing ZP in the RC SFPA, the bookstore Artforum (in all its regional branches), or in the bookstore SVET KNIHY in Bratislava.
The Research Centre of the Slovak Foreign Policy Association is the owner of the portal Zahraničná politika and Publisher of the journal Zahraničná politika. The Research Centre of the Slovak Foreign Policy Association (RC SFPA) was founded by the Act no. 13/2002 Coll. based on the Slovak Government decision number 1113 of November 26, 2003. It was established as a non-profit organization after transformation of the Slovak MFA Institute for International Studies which was a former allowance organization. The Research Centre of the SFPA was registered in Bratislava County Council on January 30, 2004 as an organization performing publicly beneficial duties in creation, progress, protection, revitalisation and promotion of intellectual and cultural values.
In accordance with the statute (Article III), the RC SFPA provides the following publicly beneficial services:
prepares independent expert analyses of the key questions in a field of international relations and the Slovak foreign policy;
publishes periodical and non-periodical publications, the role of which is to intesify knowledge in the area of international relations and the Slovak foreign policy and they are at the same time a source of credible academic information in the field of international affairs and the Slovak foreign policy suitable for specialists as well as for a lay public;
organizes professional events and participates in the international expert debate concerning international relations and security research;
assists in the optimization of an academic discussion about international relations and the Slovak foreign policy;
provides a creative environment for the rise of a new generation of Slovak professionals in the field of international affairs;
encourages broader interest of Slovak citizens in global affairs and in a more profound understanding of the importance of foreign policy and its interconnection with domestic politics.
